Unforgettable Evening
Alzheimer Society of Toronto Unforgettable Evening

Thank you for joining us at the eighth annual Unforgettable Evening benefiting the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. It was a wonderful evening, with a spotlight on the power of art for people with dementia. Attendees learned about its proven ability to enhance both the lives of those with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, as well as their caregivers, from Speakers Kathleen Downie, Educator and Art Facilitator, and Doris VanDerBrekel, Visual Arts & Education Consultant. Guests were welcomed by Neil Jacoby, Chair of the Board for the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. Debbie Chant, Chair of the Patrons Council at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto also gave a moving speech. Our silent auction was a huge hit among attendees, featuring artwork by people with dementia.

An Unforgettable Evening is always a special night that brings together friends, celebrities, philanthropists and business leaders to raise funds - almost $2.5 million to date - to address the needs of Canadians who are living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias every day and to support research to find the cause and cure. Looking forward to having you join us next year on October 1, 2014.
