An endowment is a permanent fund from which investment income can be used for a designated purpose. Each year, income from the Alzheimer Society's endowments is used to support a variety of different research and program needs. Building an endowment is essential because it will ensure that the Alzheimer Society has the stable source of funding to provide the leadership necessary in Canada in Alzheimer's disease research and care.
