Unforgetable Evening Banner

Our fifth annual Unforgettable Evening to Benefit the Alzheimer Society took place on October 6, 2010 at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, an elegant event that brought together 350 caring individuals to raise funds for the Society in Toronto.

Dr. Peter St. George Hyslop talked about the latest advances in dementia research, while acclaimed actress and singer Louise Pitre spoke about her beloved father who had Alzheimer’s. She sang a lovely song composed in his memory - a poignant moment that quieted the room, a reminder to all that this cruel disease touches one in four families in our community.

Many of Canada’s most influential and respected political, business and social leaders support the Alzheimer Society in the fight against Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

The Unforgettable Evening is a signal fundraising event for the Society in Toronto, raising almost
1.7 million to date for dementia research, and for education and support programs for people with dementia and the families that love and care for them.

Please save the date for the next Unforgettable Evening, on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
