Friends for a Benefit Host Memory Ball
A BIG thank you to Friends for a Benefit (FFAB) who hosted their inaugural Memory Ball and raised $21,400 for individuals and families touched by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Over 300 guests attended this event which had a fabulous silent auction, raffles prizes and DJ 'No Big Deal' who played music into the night.
Thank you to the ladies of FFAB, and to all those who attended for making this night truly special.

Jody Sanderson runs the Iron Man
A very special thank you to our wonderful friend Jody Sanderson, who completed a 3.8km Swim, 180km Bike
ride and 42.4km Run in the Ironman Race and raised an incredible $10,925 for people and families
dealing with Alzheimer'’s.

Skate for Memories
A BIG thank you to our great friend Danielle Siciliano, who hosted a Skate for Memories on March 6, at The Sports Village.
Over 120 people came out for afternoon of skating and fun to honour and remember all those with Alzheimer’s.
Thanks to the generous hearts of over 40 children who collected pledges, $3,400 was raised for the Society.

Norman Hardie climbs Mount Kilimanjaro
A very special thank you to our wonderful friend Norman Hardie,
who at 72 climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and raised an incredible $37,000 for Alzheimer’s
from family and friends around the world.

Afternoon Tea to benefit Alzheimer Society of Toronto
A special thank you to Danielle Siciliano, who hosted an Afternoon Tea in honour of her Nonna, Elvia Viola.
Sixty women attended the event and enjoyed an afternoon filled with tea and treats, a silent auction and
raffle draws for some fabulous prizes.
The event was held at The Old Mill on Sunday, October 18, and raised a remarkable $2,000 for the Society.

Executive Women’s Golf Association Annual Charity Event
The Greater Toronto Area Chapter of EWGA-Canada was pleased to hold their annual Charity Golf Tournament
in support of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto on June 20 at Glen Cedars Golf Club.
The event was a wonderful success despite the inclement weather. But with this group of ladies a few heavy
showers doesn’t stop them when they’re on a mission.
Thanks to all their hard work and generous hearts they raised $9,169.89.
