MacDonell Slamarama Baseball Tournament - Saturday, September 8th, 2007

The MacDonell Family had the 9th Annual Slamarama Baseball Tournament on Saturday, September 8th, 2007.  The MacDonell Family has sadly been touched by Alzheimer’s with two uncles, two aunts, as well as a grandmother.  The tournament has grown throughout the years, from a small gathering of 40 friends and family into four  teams of extended friends and children. Over 100 people all came out to show their  support for Alzheimer’s.
Slamarana Baseball Tournament

After a full day of baseball, they enjoyed a bbq, and a raffle which had a great variety of prizes generously donated by sponsors such as Warner Bros.,CISCO, Mark’s Work Warehouse, Loblaw’s, Creative Memories, Margie’s Salon, Darrin Earley Ent, and Ping Golf.

The event raised over $500, and we are so grateful to the Macdonell family for all their hard work.

A huge thank you to the Parsons Family and their friends for choosing to support the Alzheimer Society this year.

This Silver Anniversary Kroquet Klassic was dedicated to family member who had Alzheimer’s.

It was wonderful event, with great food, lots of laughs and of course a wonderful Kroquet tournament.  Eighteen adults and six kids competed for the trophy, but it was Suzanne Parsons and Rick Sellon who waltzed away with the big prize.

Congratulations to them and thanks again to everyone.
We really appreciate it.
